A new zest of life


I’ve been a coffee girl as long as I can remember, black, with milk, with sugar, add ice, no matter how it’s served I’ll drink it.

However, in a bid to live my best zest life, I have recently begun the ritual of swapping my first morning coffee for a warm mug of lemon juice and have instantly felt the benefits.

If you’re interested in jumping on the lemon water bandwagon, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  1. When preparing lemon water, it’s best to add half a lemon’s worth of juice to warm or room temperature water. Drinking cold lemon water can be a definite shock to the system!
  2. However you choose to drink your lemon water you’re sure to feel the benefits, however, sipping on it in the morning will kick-start your day. Try a glass about 30 minutes before breakfast and then the lemon juice in your tummy will help your body absorb your breakfast nutrients better.
